went jakarta during the weekend. the disappointment is the city is kinda unsystematic although advanced. and jam like HELL! however there is one thing that impress me so much, i.e the MALLS! seriously, kl's pale in comparison to jakarta's. totally! it's so high end. many brands i've never heard of. even the cold storage is impressive, those brands that u can't even see in kl. and of course, the price are IMPRESSIVE TOO! plus, there are many chinese in jakarta. all of them FILTHY rich, they way they dress, the place they eat, u can tell. but all of them speaking indonesian la. that i still can't get used too.

haha i totally get what you meant. when i was in jakarta my ears were besieged by this incessant string of malay words streaming forth from CHinese punya mouth. hard to stomach the fact la honestly. n we went to the mall. the ladies there wear gowns de wei. if kl ok la coz we can dress up nicely ma. i went on a budget trip so brought all the ugly clothes there. darn we were lik pariahs roaming around the high class place. dammn paise. haha.. but fun la
