it's a last minute decision or more precisely,being random.haha. blame my friend for this outing. i did enjoy taking it though,albeit the freezing-cold-until-i-can't-feel-my-hands-anymore-winter-weather. ;)

ok peeps, lied in front of your eyes, this is a 4 storey escalator in a new mall, ILUMA in Singapore. it carries people from Ground Floor all the way straight to 4th Floor. read from jasmine's post, and found it on google images.

Just finished watching 

1. The Proposal

2. 17 Again

3. Up

yesterday and

4. The Hangover

today.

Just a short personal insight of how the movies fared. If i'm only able to use 1 word to describe the movies, EASY!

The Proposal, 17 Again and The Hangover SUCK. Coincidentally these 3 movies have been screened in Malaysia ( not sure about The Proposal. But probably it'll be out by now, or some time soon)

Up's AWESOME! The movie will only be out in July. Conclusion's simple: Malaysia's arts authority are just complete morons, screening totaly douche movies ahead of movies that are worth a watch. Don't believe me, check out Rotten Tomatoes. It's a site where all the movies are judged and rated by a panel of judges and their reviews are definitely incisive. 

UP scored a whopping 97% on the scale!

Speaking of good movies, Star Trek's a great one too. Watched it in Jakarta and the movie has all elements you're looking for - romance, comedy, valor etc

The 3 stated sucky movies have 1 huge common overlapping area - they're corny and you've seen the same theme countless times in other movies. 

The Proposal - Boy meets girl, they squabble, they fall in love, happy 

The Hangover - plays up the macho factor, a group of guys drives down to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, gets absolutely plastered and paints the town red (well it's the sin city. what'd ya expect?)

17 Again - Awww.. teenage heartthrob movies geared for soppy gals. Case in point- movies start off with Zac Efron shirtless playing with balls (oops. don't get the wrong meaning. but you get the idea) Zac Efron goes through a transformation. Zac Efron looks cool. A typical movie where a teenage actor is flexing his muscles in the movie landscape by showing that he can act (scenes are purposely created to evoke his emotions - he cries etc)

Sorry for being so negative.

Let's look at the bright side.

UP's a movie to look out for for those who want a great movie. It's about an old man who having lost his wife, lost hope of the world and started to cling to the memories of his wife. And how a boy came along and change all that. Throw in a few funny characters, a few tear-jerkers and pretty much you have the making of a great movie.

Tomorrow I'll be watching

New Skin

by the time you start reading my post,you guys should have already noticed what i mean.haha.

yea,i've changed our blog skin.
i remembered someone mentioned about changing background or something,but i was busy that time,so didn't have the time to change it.
and since it's just a few days before my new semester arrives and i still have the time to rot,i might as well change the whole thing. :)

at the moment i still don't have the necessary skills to make a blog template yet.
won't be studying html/xml stuffs since i've dropped it for this semester.
but yours truly is gonna be a hardworking lad and will study by my own this time.
so hopefully by the end of the semester,i can not just make a template,but also to make it more advanced style. CSS - the horror. :O!!!!!!!

I've read an article just now. online. I'm not sure that article comes from official website. Sony Ericsson or Sony without Ericsson. Whatever. But this is really an interesting fact. The photo is really eye-catching. What i can say is the technology nowadays is fast-developing, and even beyond our imagination. Maybe in the future, you're not only can use video call, but u can also touch the people that you're calling..

" It’s gonna be something really interesting if the rumor is true. Two-in-one device is not something new, but it’s become special since those two devices are PSP and phone. This is going to be a revolutionary step for mobile gaming.

Well thanks to Sony, by announcing their Sony Ericsson F305 (mobile-gaming cellphone without any PSP brand name) in Communic Asia 2008 last week, a rumor (big one) has emerged that this Japanese seems trying to avoid its PlayStation brand name for their joint-venture with Swedish, Sony Ericsson. A trusted source, via Marketing Week, said that Sony won’t give this brand to SE since both of this company had experiencing a “frosty” relationship.

The reason for this frosty thing has been a public secret I think. As we had already known, this company have lost their position as the world’s fourth largest cellphone maker after they were being taken by LG in this Q1 this year. Perhaps, Sony’s insider thought that putting PSP brand name into Sony Ericsson will leave them in loss condition similar like what had happened to Walkman or Cyber Shot brand name."
